Seminar Programme 2018
Architecture today has partnered with Vision 2018 to deliver this year’s conference programme at the event.
Vision 2018 is a two-day conference and exhibition examining the key issues facing architecture and development today, with a view to making the right decisions for the future. The conference runs across three inter-linked content streams, focused on:
1. Added Value
Urbanism, infrastructure and Architecture are fundamental to the economic success of cities, neighbourhoods, institutions, companies and brands. How can we quantify and maximize the impact of high-quality design on society, economic sustainability and commercial success?
2. Health Check
How can we design buildings and places that promote healthy environments and sustainable lifestyles, whilst also being efficient to build and run?
3. Common Good
What steps can we take to ensure that our buildings and public spaces are inclusive, safe and welcoming and make a positive contribution to civic life?
In the technical theatre you will find a host of interesting CPD sessions presented by our exhibitors, offering materials and software solutions across the architectural and built environment.
In the morning of the 22nd June, we will be running an informative series of talks, setting the scene in terms of where the offsite industry has come from and some of the earliest examples of modular/offsite projects, brought to you by Agency Spring. We will also explore innovation in modular building product manufacture and investigate creating healthy spaces using offsite construction products in residential environments.
